Leucorhynchia tricarinata : ウィキペディア英語版 | Leucorhynchia tricarinata
''Leucorhynchia tricarinata'' is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Skeneidae.〔Bouchet, P. (2012). ''Leucorhynchia tricarinata'' Melvill & Standen, 1896. Accessed through: World Register of Marine Species at http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=595812 on 2012-09-01〕 ==Description== The size of the shell varies between 2 mm and 4 mm. The white shell is much depressed and contains three whorls. The apex has a papillary form and is sunk in the spire. The periphery is tricarinate with the middle keel strongly, squarely built and bold and projecting further from the whorl than the two other keels. The spiral crenellae run round the sutures and round the callosity of the peristome. This is tongue-shaped and conceals almost the umbilicus.〔( Melvill J.C. & Standen R. (1896) Notes on a collection of shells from Lifu and Uvea, Loyalty Islands, formed by the Rev. James and Mrs. Hadfield, with list of species. Part II. Journal of Conchology 8: 273-315 (+ pls 9-11 published in April 1897) )〕
